I am so happy to have found Dr. Nathaniel. I have always struggled with acne and scarring. I have tried creams, peels, micro needling, you name it! The opus plasma treatment has been the only thing that has worked. I have since regained my confidence back after getting treatment and my skin looks refreshed! The space is clean and Dr. Nathaniel and Amber both made me feel comfortable and understood my lifelong frustrations. I will most certainly be back!

Is it a painful treatment?

There is little or no sensation during treatment. Most patients report mild, soothing warmth or tingling sensations that are calming. Rarely, areas of pain or inflammation may be sensitive briefly before pain reduction. This is caused by an increase of blood flow to the area.

Are there any side effects or associated risks?

During more than 20 years of use by healthcare providers all over the world, very few side effects have ever been reported. Occasionally, some old injuries or pain syndromes may feel aggravated for a few days, as the healing response is more active after treatment.

How often should a patient receive therapy?

Acute conditions may be treated daily, particularly if they are accompanied by significant pain. More chronic problems respond better when treatments are received 2-3x/week, and tapering down when improvements are experienced.

How many treatments does it take?

Depending on the nature of the condition and how long the neuropathy has been present. A treatment course is 16 treatments.

How long before results are felt from the therapy?

Patients may feel improvement after the very first treatment. Sometimes improvement may not be felt for a number of treatments. This absolutely does not mean the condition is not improving. Each treatment is cumulative, and results are often felt by the time the treatment course is completed.
